Prohibits telephone and telecommunications service contracts from containing automatic renewal clauses unless the service provider gives written notice to the subscriber.

Requires written notice in bold 10-point font that includes the last day the subscriber may provide notice of nonrenewal, delivered in the initial bill and in any document sent 30 to 90 days before the nonrenewal deadline.

Makes automatic renewal clauses void and unenforceable if the contract lacks the written notice requirement or if notice is not provided in compliance with the specified standards.

Applies to contracts entered into or renewed on or after August 1, 2019.
