Authorizes cardiovascular technologists to assist with fluoroscopy equipment operation if they meet specified education and credentialing requirements.

Requires cardiovascular technologists to be credentialed by Cardiovascular Credentialing International as a registered cardiovascular invasive specialist or registered cardiac electrophysiology specialist, or graduate from an accredited education program using Joint Review Committee on Education in Cardiovascular Technology standards, effective July 31, 2019.

Mandates cardiovascular technologists work under personal supervision and physical presence of a qualified practitioner during fluoroscopically guided interventional procedures for cardiovascular disease or condition diagnosis and treatment.

Prohibits cardiovascular technologists from activating the fluoroscopic system or evaluating quality control tests.

Amends Minnesota Statutes 2018, section 144.121, subdivision 5a, effective the day following final enactment.
