Adds nonsurgical treatment for periodontal disease to medical assistance dental coverage for nonpregnant adults, including scaling and root planing once every two years for each quadrant and routine periodontal maintenance procedures

Expands existing item (15) to item (16) in the list of covered dental services for nonpregnant adults under Minnesota Statutes 256B.0625, subdivision 9

Maintains existing periodontal coverage limits in outpatient hospital settings or freestanding ambulatory surgical centers, which already allow periodontal scaling and root planing once every two years

Applies to medical assistance provided under sections 256B.69, 256B.692, and 256L.12
