Extends the expiration date of the Newborn Hearing Screening Advisory Committee from June 30, 2019 to June 30, 2025.

Adds two new committee member positions: a representative from the deaf mentor program and a representative from the Minnesota State Academy for the Deaf from the Minnesota State Academies staff.

Requires initial appointments for the two new member positions to be completed by September 1, 2019.

Committee continues to advise the Department of Health and Department of Education on newborn hearing screening protocols, tracking systems, technical assistance, and evaluation of program outcomes.

Committee must meet at least four times per year and report biannually to legislative committees with jurisdiction over health and data privacy.
