Grants the Prairie Island Indian Community of the Mdewakanton Dakota tribe concurrent jurisdictional authority with local county sheriffs to enforce state criminal law within the community's reservation boundaries

Eliminates the requirement for a cooperative agreement under subdivision 4 of Minnesota Statutes section 626.93 as a prerequisite for exercising this law enforcement authority

Requires only that the requirements of subdivision 2 be met for the Prairie Island Indian Community to exercise concurrent state law enforcement jurisdiction

Adds a new subdivision 7 to Minnesota Statutes 2018, section 626.93 as an exception to existing provisions
