Secretary of State must maintain a list of voters who participated in presidential nomination primaries and their selected political party, classified as private data on individuals.

Secretary of State must provide the presidential primary voter list to the chair of each major political party.

Political party chairs may only disseminate the list data for uses related to elections and political activities, and only to designated persons or the party's national committee.

Any person receiving data from a party chair is prohibited from further disseminating the information.

Violations are subject to penalties and remedies under Minnesota Statutes sections 13.08 and 13.09, effective the day following final enactment.
