• Removes the February 3, 2014 effective date and updates maximum child care assistance rates to be based on the most recent provider rate survey instead of 2011 data.

• Maximum rates paid for child care assistance in any county or price cluster shall be the greater of the 25th percentile of the most recent child care provider rate survey or the rates in effect at the time of the update.

• Special needs rates may exceed the maximum rate allowed under this subdivision.

• Providers cannot charge activity fees or additional amounts above maximum rates for care provided during nonstandard hours for families receiving assistance.

• Maximum provider rate changes shall be implemented on the Monday following the effective date of the rate change.
