Designates August 15 of each year as India Day in Minnesota to commemorate the end of British rule in India and celebrate Indian culture, heritage, and traditions

Recognizes the Indian-American community's contributions to Minnesota's vitality and provides an opportunity for citizens to learn about and appreciate the community

Requires the governor to issue a proclamation each year honoring the observance and encouraging public engagement with Indian-American contributions to the state

Adds new section 10.551 to Minnesota Statutes, chapter 10 (State Government)
