• Restricts participation in female athletic teams or sports to students of the female sex at educational institutions.

• Requires students to present a signed physician's statement if there is a dispute about their sex, based solely on internal and external reproductive anatomy, naturally occurring testosterone levels, and chromosome analysis.

• Amends Minnesota Statutes 2018, section 121A.04, by adding a new subdivision.

• Effective date is July 1, 2020.
