Enacts the Uniform Registration of Canadian Money Judgments Act in Minnesota Statutes chapter 548, allowing streamlined registration of Canadian court judgments for money recovery.

Establishes a registration process where judgment creditors file authenticated copies of Canadian judgments with Minnesota court administrators, requiring specified documentation including judgment amount, interest, costs, and attorney fees.

Registered Canadian judgments have the same effect as recognized foreign judgments but cannot be enforced through property sale, seizure, or garnishment until 31 days after notice is served on the judgment debtor.

Judgment debtors may petition to vacate registration within 30 days on grounds that could deny recognition under existing foreign judgment law or failure to comply with registration requirements.

Applies to Canadian judgments entered in proceedings commenced on or after January 1, 2021, and supplements existing foreign judgment recognition procedures while allowing parties to choose between registration or traditional recognition actions.
