Prohibits health care professionals from engaging in conversion therapy with clients under 18 years old or vulnerable adults, making such conduct unprofessional and subject to disciplinary action by licensing boards.

Excludes conversion therapy from medical assistance (Medicaid) coverage effective January 15, 2021.

Prohibits any person or entity from using fraud, false promises, misrepresentation, or deceptive practices when advertising or offering conversion therapy services.

Working group definition must be objective, nonjudgmental, and based on peer-reviewed scientific research with empirical data, with results reported to legislative health committees by February 15, 2021.
