Amends Minnesota Statutes 2018, section 13.32, subdivision 5, relating to government data practices and directory information policies.

Requires educational agencies and institutions to notify parents and students of their right to refuse designation of any or all student data as directory information.

Mandates public postsecondary institutions maintain documentation when directory information is requested for 100 or more students.

Prohibits public postsecondary institutions from publicly disclosing students' e-mail addresses, physical addresses, telephone numbers, or identification card photographs in their directory information policies.
