Amends Minnesota Statutes 2019 Supplement, section 245A.02, subdivision 18 to revise the definition of "supervision" in licensed child care centers

Maintains that supervision requires a staff person to be accountable for the child's care, able to intervene for health and safety, and within sight and hearing except in specified situations

Allows supervision of infants in crib rooms by sight or hearing alone, with centers required to have a plan addressing other supervision components

Permits supervision of school-age children using restrooms within the licensed space through staff knowledge of activity and location with checks every five minutes, or staff accompaniment for restrooms outside the licensed space

Adds new provision allowing supervision of single preschoolers using private individual restrooms within classrooms with closed doors through staff knowledge of activity and location, ability to hear the child, and checks every five minutes
