S.F. No. 4199 Summary

• Cancels the estimated $1,000,000 uncommitted and unobligated appropriation from Laws 2017, First Special Session chapter 8 for township road upgrades in the town of Appleton, and reduces the bond sale authorization by the same amount.

• Appropriates $1,000,000 from the state transportation fund bond proceeds account to the commissioner of transportation for a grant to Swift County for design, engineering, and reconstruction of County State-Aid Highway 6 between Trunk Highway 7 and County State-Aid Highway 17.

• Requires the reconstructed highway segment to provide for a ten-ton paved roadway.

• Authorizes the commissioner of management and budget to sell and issue state bonds up to $1,000,000 to fund the Swift County highway project, in accordance with Minnesota Statutes sections 16A.631 to 16A.675 and the Minnesota Constitution article XI, sections 4 to 7.
