City of Luverne is authorized to donate city funds to a nonprofit child care center operating under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code that provides child care services within the city.

City of Luverne may determine the amount and duration of funding provided to the nonprofit child care center.

City of Luverne may impose requirements on the nonprofit that must be met to receive the funding.

Section 1 becomes effective the day after the city of Luverne's governing body and chief clerical officer comply with Minnesota Statutes, section 645.021 requirements.
