Appropriates $250,000 to the Department of Agriculture for the Forever Green agriculture initiative to incorporate perennial and winter-annual crops into farming practices, available until June 30, 2024.

Appropriates $492,000 to the Pollution Control Agency to adopt water quality standards for PFOA and PFOS by June 30, 2023.

Appropriates $488,000 to the Board of Water and Soil Resources for permanent conservation easements and perennial vegetation on wellhead protection areas, with priority for high-vulnerability drinking water supply areas, available until June 30, 2023.

Appropriates $2,000,000 to the Department of Health: $250,000 to amend the health risk limit for perfluorooctane sulfonate to 0.015 parts per billion by July 1, 2022; $1,750,000 to develop health risk limits and water quality monitoring protocols; and $750,000 to study contaminants in private wells.

Appropriates $500,000 to the Metropolitan Council for inflow and infiltration reduction programs and $2,700,000 to the University of Minnesota to study chronic wasting disease prion transport through waterways, with results due by January 15, 2025.
