Amends Minnesota Statutes 2018, section 3.302, subdivision 3, regarding the Legislative Reference Library's document depository requirements.

Establishes that the library receives all state-published documents automatically without cost to the legislature or library.

Defines "document" to include publications from state constitutional officers, departments, commissions, councils, bureaus, research centers, societies, task forces (including advisory task forces), and other state-funded agencies, as well as publications prepared for the state by private individuals or organizations deemed of interest or value to the library.

Excludes intraoffice and interoffice memos, forms, and information concerning only the internal operation of an agency from the definition of documents.

Introduced March 16, 2020, and referred to the State Government Finance and Policy and Elections committee.
