• Permits funds to be used for developing and distributing training materials related to screening visitors and staff of long-term care facilities.

• Allows purchase of temporal artery thermometers and other screening tools to identify visitors and staff potentially infected with SARS-CoV-2 virus or COVID-19.

• Defines long-term care facilities as nursing homes, boarding care homes, housing with services establishments, and intermediate care facilities for people with developmental disabilities.
