Commissioner of education must equitably distribute $14,013,725 from the state education agencies reserve portion of the Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief Fund to school districts and charter schools on a per pupil basis.

School districts and charter schools must use distributed funds to provide mental health services and support for students or to purchase educational technology for students, including hardware, software, or connectivity.

School districts and charter schools must use the September 2020 permanent school fund apportionment under Minnesota Statutes section 127A.33 for mental health services and support or educational technology purchases, including hardware, software, or connectivity.
