• Appropriates $1.9 billion total for public safety, courts, corrections, human rights agencies, and related boards for fiscal years 2020-2021

• Expands criminal sexual conduct offenses to include peace officers who engage in sexual activity with persons in custody and persons in current or recent positions of authority over juveniles; effective August 1, 2019

• Increases penalties for child pornography and invasion of privacy crimes involving minors, including surreptitious intrusion with sexual intent; requires predatory offender registration for certain invasion of privacy crimes

• Modifies predatory offender registration requirements to include certain invasion of privacy crimes, offenses committed by persons in positions of authority over juveniles, and conduct by peace officers

• Directs Sentencing Guidelines Commission to review and modify sentencing guidelines for child pornography offenses (sections 617.246 and 617.247) compared to similar sex offenses
