$13,852,000 appropriated from the TANF fund in fiscal year 2020 to provide a onetime cash benefit of up to $500 per household enrolled in the Minnesota Family Investment Program or Diversionary Work Program.

Commissioner of human services shall distribute funds through existing systems in a manner that minimizes burden to families.

$92,000 appropriated from the general fund for administrative costs associated with distributing the cash benefit.

$6,000 appropriated from the general fund for information technology costs to administer the cash benefit.

All appropriations are onetime only and effective the day following final enactment.
