Secretary of state and local elections officials may disclose precinct initial count results for the 2020 state primary and general elections even if all absentee ballots have not yet been processed.

Any released count results must clearly indicate that the county's results reflect a partial count.

Precinct count results cannot be released before voting is scheduled to end at those elections.

This provision takes effect the day following final enactment and expires when the statewide canvass of the 2020 state general election is certified.
