Commissioner of commerce must provide telephone assistance and publicly release information on the claims submission process for businesses affected by civil unrest during the peacetime emergency declared by Executive Order 20-64

Commissioner must accept, review, and resolve complaints regarding the handling of property, casualty, and liability insurance claims related to businesses affected by the civil unrest emergency

All insurers writing property, casualty, or liability insurance in Minnesota must submit to the commissioner by January 1, 2021 the number of claims they have rejected or not yet fulfilled related to the civil unrest emergency

Commissioner must review insurer submissions for compliance with relevant statutes and regulations

Effective the day following final enactment
