Commissioner of education must apply for the Education Stabilization Fund-Rethink K12 Education Models Grant under the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act

Grant application must propose establishing a partnership with an online school provider whose instruction aligns with Minnesota academic standards and offers comprehensive curriculum for kindergarten through grade 12

Student participation in courses through the online school provider counts toward average daily membership and generates state aid without reducing aid schools would otherwise receive

Student participation is excluded from revenue calculations under Minnesota Statutes sections 124D.095, subdivision 8; 124D.096; and 126C.05, subdivision 19

Schools and students cannot be charged fees for participation in courses funded under this grant
