$38,000,000 appropriated from the bond proceeds account in the trunk highway fund to the commissioner of transportation for expansion of U.S. Highway 212 to four lanes between Tacoma Ave. N. in Norwood Young America and Lake Street West in Cologne.

Up to $10,000,000 of the appropriation designated for safety improvements to the intersection of Trunk Highway 212 and Carver County Road 51.

Funds to be used for property acquisition, permanent easements, design, engineering, construction, furnishing, and equipment of the highway expansion.

Commissioner of management and budget authorized to sell and issue up to $38,000,000 in state bonds according to Minnesota Statutes sections 167.50 to 167.52 and Minnesota Constitution article XIV, section 11.

Bond proceeds, except accrued interest and premiums, must be deposited into the bond proceeds account in the trunk highway fund.
