MN HF65

Prohibits sitting members of the Minnesota legislature from accepting employment or compensation from businesses whose primary activities involve lobbying, government relations, government affairs, or public policy advocacy or consulting

Prohibits legislators from working for any other business that employs or contracts with lobbyists or government relations professionals if the legislator's job duties include acting in that capacity or providing consulting, advice, or administrative support for that work

Applies the prohibition regardless of where the business conducts its work or where its clients are located

Requires the Minnesota House of Representatives and Senate to adopt rules consistent with this prohibition
