Legislature may terminate a peacetime emergency declaration in its entirety by majority vote of each house if the emergency continues beyond 30 days.

Legislature may consider individual executive orders issued under a peacetime emergency declaration and decide to rescind or affirm each order separately.

Legislature may terminate any subsequent orders or rules promulgated by the governor directing a response to the peacetime emergency.

If the governor extends a peacetime emergency beyond 30 days while the legislature is not in session, the governor must immediately issue a call to convene both houses.

Governor's authority over the National Guard under the Military Code and Minnesota Constitution remains unaffected by this legislation.
