Commissioner of Public Safety must establish and maintain a central searchable database of traffic law enforcement information from local law enforcement agencies and the State Patrol.

Database information is classified as public data and must be made available to the public on the department's website.

All local law enforcement agencies and State Patrol must submit quarterly reports containing 15 categories of traffic stop data, including number of stops, officer identity, driver demographics (race/ethnicity, age, gender), violation type, and citation or warning issued.

Quarterly reports must include detailed information on searches conducted, contraband found, arrests made, property seized, use of force incidents, injuries, and geographic location of stops (district/station numbers for State Patrol; municipality and county for other officers).

The effective date is the day following final enactment.
