Adds a new exception (clause 7) to allow licensing and certification of 160 beds in an existing facility in New Hope that had 258 beds as of June 1, 2020, with authorization to relocate 54 beds to a newly constructed facility in Corcoran.

Requires the New Hope facility to complete construction of an addition accommodating additional private rooms and improved dining, activities, and support spaces.

Specifies that facilities covered by this exception shall receive property rates calculated under chapter 256R upon completion of construction.

Treats projects approved under this subdivision in a manner equivalent to projects approved under subdivision 4a of the nursing home licensing moratorium exceptions.

Amends Minnesota Statutes 2019 Supplement, section 144A.071, subdivision 4c, to implement these changes.
