MN HF17

Requires state agencies with more than 50 full-time equivalent employees to reduce management and supervisory personnel at the same percentage rate as line and support personnel during layoffs.

Mandates that when layoffs occur due to funding shortages, agencies must ensure economies outside the metropolitan area are not disproportionately affected by personnel reductions.

Applies to collective bargaining agreements entered into on or after the day following final enactment.

Amends Minnesota Statutes 2018, section 43A.046 regarding staff reductions.
