Makes public data held by law enforcement regarding the identity of any person or entity that posted bail or bond for release from custody, but only when the arrested person was held for a crime against a person listed in section 611A.031 or a crime of violence as defined in section 629.725.

Requires judges to notify the agency having custody of an arrested or detained person when money bail is posted, including the amount posted and the identity of who posted it (for crimes against persons and crimes of violence).

Requires courts to provide the custody agency with a copy of surety affidavits for defendants charged with crimes against persons or crimes of violence, containing information about the surety's identity, residence, property ownership, and other bond obligations.

Requires courts to notify the custody agency when a corporation posts a surety bond, recognizance, or undertaking for a defendant charged with crimes against persons or crimes of violence, including the bond amount and identity of the posting entity.

All provisions are effective the day following final enactment.
