• $16,029,000 appropriated from general fund to commissioner of human services for direct care and treatment services in fiscal year 2021, available until June 30, 2022.

• $7,168,000 appropriated from trunk highway fund to Department of Public Safety for highway patrol staff and operating costs in fiscal year 2021, with base funding of $102,452,000 for fiscal years 2022-2023.

• $8,653,000 total appropriated to Department of Public Safety for commercial vehicle enforcement ($648,000), capitol security ($1,278,000), and civil unrest response costs ($5,072,000 from trunk highway fund and $3,581,000 from general fund).

• $7,500,000 appropriated to Department of Corrections for overtime and staffing in fiscal year 2021 as one-time funding.

• $4,482,000 appropriated to Bureau of Criminal Apprehension for sexual assault examination kit testing and forensic testing, with $3,096,000 designated for unrestricted kit testing and $1,386,000 for staffing and forensic capacity enhancement.

• $2,112,000 appropriated to Natural Resources and $865,000 to Department of Transportation for civil unrest response costs in Minneapolis-St. Paul area.

• Medical assistance general fund appropriation reduced by $59,456,000 for fiscal year 2021 and planning estimate increased by $34,400,000 for fiscal year 2022 due to federal medical assistance percentage increase.
