Department of Health shall provide the current address of individuals who tested positive for COVID-19 to chief law enforcement officers of relevant political subdivisions during the peacetime public health emergency declared March 13, 2020.

Department of Health disclosure shall exclude the individual's name, age, date of birth, sex, and race.

Chief law enforcement officers may disclose COVID-19 positive addresses to fire chiefs or administrative heads of fire departments during the peacetime public health emergency.

Law enforcement and fire department officials may disclose that a person at a particular address tested positive for COVID-19 only to peace officers or firefighters dispatched to respond to calls for service at that address.

Data received remains classified as private data and may be used solely for responding to calls for service in a manner that protects the health and safety of officers, firefighters, and the community; effective the day following final enactment.
