Provides emergency paid sick leave to health care providers and emergency responders whose employers excluded them from the federal Families First Coronavirus Response Act.

Employees receive up to 100 hours for full-time workers, hours equal to average two-week work schedule for part-time workers, or 14 times average daily hours for variable-hour employees.

Compensates employees at the greater of their regular rate of pay, state minimum wage, or local minimum wage, capped at $6,388 in aggregate.

Covers absences due to COVID-19 quarantine orders, health provider self-quarantine advice, symptom screening, care for affected individuals, school closures affecting dependent children, or other similar conditions designated by health officials.

Becomes effective the day after enactment and expires 30 days after the governor's COVID-19 peacetime emergency declaration is terminated or rescinded.
