Appropriates $3,750,000 from bond proceeds to the Commissioner of Employment and Economic Development for a grant to Hennepin County to acquire, furnish, and equip residential units for temporary housing of burn victims, first responders, and their families during treatment at Hennepin County Medical Center.

Project includes office space for Firefighters for Healing organization and allows the county to enter into lease or management agreements under Minnesota Statutes, section 16A.695.

Appropriation becomes available only after the Commissioner of Management and Budget determines sufficient funds have been committed to complete the project as required by Minnesota Statutes, section 16A.502.

Authorizes the Commissioner of Management and Budget to sell and issue state bonds up to $3,750,000 to fund the appropriation, following procedures prescribed by Minnesota Statutes, sections 16A.631 to 16A.675 and the Minnesota Constitution, article XI, sections 4 to 7.

Takes effect the day following final enactment.
