Authorizes the city of Maple Grove to impose a 0.5% local sales and use tax, subject to voter approval at a general election, for expansion and renovation of the Maple Grove Community Center.

Tax revenues must be used to pay collection and administration costs and to finance up to $90,000,000 for the community center project, plus debt service on related bonds.

Allows the city to issue up to $90,000,000 in bonds to finance the project costs, with bonds exempt from state debt limitations and levy limitations.

Tax expires at the earlier of 20 years after imposition or when the city council determines sufficient revenue has been collected to pay project and bond costs.

Remaining funds after allowed costs are paid go to the city's general fund; the city may terminate the tax earlier by ordinance.
