Prohibits manufacture for sale in Minnesota of lead-containing sinkers or jigs weighing one ounce or less or measuring 2-1/2 inches or less in length, effective July 1, 2024.

Prohibits offering for sale or selling any lead-containing sinkers or jigs weighing one ounce or less or measuring 2-1/2 inches or less in length, effective July 1, 2024.

Defines "jig" as a weighted hook, excluding fishing line, flies, lures, or spoons.

Defines "sinker" as a device designed to attach to fishing line and sink it, excluding artificial lures, weighted line, weighted flies, or jig heads.
