Appropriates $9,625,000 in fiscal year 2022 and $9,625,000 in fiscal year 2023 from the arts and cultural heritage fund for statewide historic and cultural grants distributed through a competitive grant process to local, county, regional, or other historical or cultural organizations.

Appropriates $9,625,000 in fiscal year 2022 and $9,625,000 in fiscal year 2023 for historic and cultural programs and purposes related to Minnesota's heritage.

Appropriates $3,750,000 in fiscal year 2022 and $3,750,000 in fiscal year 2023 for history partnerships involving multiple organizations to preserve and enhance access to Minnesota's history and cultural heritage in all regions of the state.

Appropriates $625,000 in fiscal year 2022 and $625,000 in fiscal year 2023 for statewide surveys or investigations of Minnesota's sites of historical, archeological, and cultural significance, with results published in searchable, free public form and overseen by a board including representatives from the Minnesota Historical Society, Office of the State Archeologist, Indian Affairs Council, and State Historic Preservation Office.

Appropriates $500,000 in fiscal year 2022 and $500,000 in fiscal year 2023 for a digital library project to preserve, digitize, and share Minnesota images, documents, and historical materials in cooperation with the Minitex interlibrary loan system.
