Repeals the Iron Range fiscal disparities program (Minnesota Statutes sections 276A.01-276A.09), which established tax base sharing mechanisms for the taconite assistance areas.

Repeals the metropolitan fiscal disparities program (Minnesota Statutes sections 473F.001-473F.13), known as the Charles R. Weaver Metropolitan Revenue Distribution Act, which governed tax base sharing in the seven-county Twin Cities area.

Eliminates administrative structures including the election of administrative auditors and their duties to certify tax capacities, levy apportionments, and coordinate payments between counties.

Removes the mechanisms that redistributed 40 percent of increases in commercial-industrial property tax capacity from municipalities to support fiscal equity across both the Iron Range and metropolitan regions.

Effective date is January 1, 2022 for property taxes payable in 2022.
