Renames "e-learning days" to "distance learning days" throughout Minnesota Statutes sections 120A.41 and 120A.414.

Removes the five-day limit on distance learning days, allowing school boards an unlimited number of distance learning days per school year due to weather or health or natural disaster emergencies.

Requires distance learning plans to include accommodations for students without Internet access, families lacking sufficient technology, and accessible options for students with disabilities under chapter 125A.

Requires schools to notify parents and students of their distance learning plan at the beginning of each school year and at least two hours before implementing a distance learning day.

Makes teachers accessible both online and by telephone during normal school hours on distance learning days to assist students and parents.

Effective for the 2021-2022 school year and later.
