Exempts hot tubs and whirlpools located on rental houseboats from public pool regulations and sanitary requirements under Minnesota Statutes section 144.1222 and Minnesota Rules chapter 4717.

Exempts spa pools on stand-alone single-unit rental properties (rented by owner or through a resort) from public pool regulations when use is limited to occupants of the rental property only.

Requires conspicuous posting of a specific notice on exempted spa pools informing renters that the spa is exempt from state and local sanitary requirements that prevent disease transmission.

Notice must state "USE AT YOUR OWN RISK" and reference Minnesota Statutes section 144.1222, subdivision 2d as the legal basis for the exemption.
