Requires a pregnant woman to have an in-person appointment with a physician, nurse practitioner, or physician assistant before an abortion-inducing drug is prescribed, dispensed, or otherwise provided.

Defines "abortion-inducing drug" as any drug, medicine, oral hormonal compound, mixture, or preparation prescribed, administered, or provided with the intent to terminate a known pregnancy.

Specifies that physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants must provide services in accordance with applicable professional standards of care during the required appointment.

Establishes definitions for qualified providers: physicians licensed under chapter 147, nurse practitioners licensed and nationally certified under chapter 145, and physician assistants licensed under chapter 147A.
