Requires the Boards of Medical Practice, Nursing, Dentistry, Optometry, and Podiatric Medicine to mandate continuing education on racial health inequities for all licensees who provide direct patient care.

Licensed health care providers must obtain at least 2 hours of continuing education credits every 3 years on social determinants and health disparities affecting racial and ethnic minority groups, communities of color, indigenous communities, and protected classes.

Continuing education must emphasize specific and tangible best practices to help providers improve patient outcomes and reduce racial health disparities within their practice.

Amends Minnesota Statutes 2020, section 214.12, by adding a new subdivision governing these education requirements.
