Expands the scope of pharmacy practice to allow licensed pharmacists to independently or by written protocol initiate, order, and administer vaccines (including COVID-19 vaccines) to individuals three years of age and older and other vaccines to those 13 years and older, following federal Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices schedules.

Permits pharmacists to initiate, order, and administer waived medical and laboratory tests, including COVID-19 tests, and to collect specimens, interpret results, notify patients, and refer for follow-up care.

Allows pharmacists to delegate vaccine and test administration authority to pharmacy technicians or pharmacy interns who have completed appropriate training.

Requires medical assistance (Minnesota's Medicaid program) to cover vaccines and medical/laboratory tests initiated, ordered, or administered by licensed pharmacists at rates no less than those paid for the same services provided by other licensed practitioners, effective January 1, 2022, or upon federal approval.

Pharmacists may perform these expanded services either independently or under written protocol with physicians, physician assistants, advanced practice registered nurses, or other licensed practitioners as specified.
