Requires Minnesota-licensed physicians, physician assistants, and advanced practice registered nurses to provide patients or their parents/guardians with vaccine information (manufacturer package insert and CDC vaccine information statement) prior to vaccination administration.

Mandates health care providers obtain written informed consent from patients or their parents/guardians before administering any vaccination.

Requires health care providers to report suspected or actual adverse vaccination reactions to the Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System (VAERS) immediately and provide the commissioner a copy of the report within five days.

Prohibits employers from retaliating against health care providers and prevents professional licensing boards from taking disciplinary action against providers for sharing their medical opinion on vaccine benefits or side effects, or for reporting adverse events to VAERS or the commissioner.
