• Allows marriage and family therapists to complete all required postgraduate supervision hours through real-time, two-way interactive audio and visual communication instead of requiring in-person sessions.

• Permits licensed professional clinical counselors (LPCCs) to satisfy all 4,000 hours of post-master's degree supervision through real-time, two-way interactive audio and visual communication, with at least 75 percent required through interactive media.

• Allows licensed social workers, licensed graduate social workers, and licensed independent social workers to complete all required supervision hours via eye-to-eye electronic media while maintaining visual contact, removing previous minimum in-person supervision requirements.

• Maintains supervision rate requirements (2 hours per 40 hours of professional practice) and other standards including minimum clinical client contact hours and supervisor qualifications.

• All provisions are effective the day following final enactment and apply to supervision requirements in effect on or after that date.
