HF 3018 Summary

• Authorizes municipalities to issue on-sale wine and malt liquor licenses to owners of town ball baseball teams competing in leagues established by the Minnesota Baseball Association.

• Extends licensing authority to persons holding concessions or management contracts with team owners for beverage sales at ballparks or stadiums within the municipality.

• Permits beverage sales on all days of the week to persons attending baseball games and other events at the ballpark or stadium.

• License issuance is notwithstanding any conflicting state law, local ordinance, or charter provision.

• Effective the day following final enactment.
