Repeals Minnesota Statutes 2020, section 43A.17, subdivision 9, which imposed a compensation limit of 110 percent of the governor's salary on political subdivision employees.

Amends Minnesota Statutes 2020, section 473.606, subdivision 5, to remove the reference to the political subdivision compensation limit and allow the corporation to determine employee compensation without restriction.

Allows political subdivisions (excluding school districts, hospitals, clinics, and health maintenance organizations) to set employee compensation without the previously mandated cap.

Takes effect the day following final enactment.
