Electronic pull-tab devices, games, and systems cannot be deactivated or have their use prohibited if they continue to meet the standards and board rules in effect at the time of approval, unless the legislature passes a law requiring compliance with new rules.

The board may still adopt rules for electronic pull-tab devices to ensure integrity and may require manufacturers to submit certificates from independent testing laboratories and pay for all testing costs.

Electronic pull-tab games subject to cumulative or carryover prizes and event games must comply with the rules in effect when the game was approved or authorized, unless the legislature mandates otherwise.

The board retains authority to deactivate devices for violation of laws or rules and may implement other controls to maintain integrity of electronic pull-tab games.

All amendments are effective the day following final enactment.
