Amends Minnesota Statutes 2020, section 256I.03, subdivision 7 to modify how "countable income" is calculated for housing support recipients.

For SSI program cash benefit recipients, countable income is calculated as 30 percent of the SSI benefit limit in effect at the time of housing support receipt, less the medical assistance personal needs allowance under section 256B.35.

If an SSI limit or benefit is reduced due to reasons other than receipt of additional income, countable income reverts to actual income less applicable exclusions and disregards.
